«بل شيئًا فشيئًا بدأت سنسن تَفطِن إلى مزايا للستارة كانت خافيةً عليها، أهمُّها بلا جدالٍ ما يدور في شُققهم ومَطابخهم وحُجرات جلوسهم ونومهم، دون أن يكون باستطاعتهم هم أن يَروها؛ فالستارة تَحجِبها عنهم وتُتيح لها أن تَرى ولا تُرى.»
باقة قصصية جديدة يُتحِفنا بها فارسُ القصة القصيرة «يوسف إدريس»، جمَع فيها بين الواقع والخيال، وسلَّط الضوءَ على الأشياء الصغيرة، فتَكشَّفت عن قيمة كبيرة. ففي قصةِ «لعبة البيت» يأخذنا إلى عالَم الطفولة الصغير، المليء بالبراءة والبساطة؛ حيث «فاتن» و«سامح»، الطِّفلان اللَّذان اعتادا اللَّعِب معًا، حتى صار كلٌّ منهما جزءًا من عالَم الآخَر، فلا معنى للأشياء إلا باجتماعهما معًا. أما قصَّة «السِّتارة» التي تدور حول «بهيج»؛ فنرى فيها معنًى فلسفيًّا عميقًا عن الهواجس التي تسيطر على صاحبها، والتي قد تؤدِّي إلى نتائجَ عكسية؛ فبسبب غَيرة «بهيج» الشديدة على زوجته، قرَّر عمَل ستارة على البلكونة لحماية زوجته من عيون الجار العازب، ولكن كان لوجود السِّتارة فعلٌ آخَر. وغير ذلك من عوالم «إدريس» الخلَّابة.
Youssef Idris
Youssef Idris Ali (May 19, 1927 - August 1, 1991), an Egyptian short story writer, playwright, and novelist, born in 1927 in Al-Bayrum, Faqous Center, Egypt, and died on August 1, 1991, at the age of 64. He obtained his MBBS in 1947 and in 1951 he specialized in psychiatry. His life Youssef Idris was born on May 19, 1927. His father was a specialist in land reclamation, so he was affected by his father's frequent movement and lived far from the city. He sent his eldest son (Youssef) to live with his grandmother in the village. As chemistry and science attracted Joseph, he wanted to be a doctor. During his medical school years, he participated in many demonstrations against the British colonialists and the regime of King Farouk. In 1951, he became the Executive Secretary of the Students' Defense Committee, then the Secretary of the Students' Committee. In this capacity he published revolutionary magazines and was imprisoned and suspended for several months. While studying medicine, he tried to write his first short story, which was very popular among his colleagues. He worked as a doctor at Al-Qasr Al-Aini from 1951-1960; He tried to practice psychiatry in 1956, health inspector, then journalist editor in the Republic, 1960, writer for Al-Ahram newspaper, 1973 until 1982. He traveled several times to most of the Arab world and visited (between 1953 and 1980) France, England, America, Japan, Thailand, Singapore and other countries. Southeast Asia.
