Book Description

Born in London, he studied pharmacy, then studied medicine at Middlesex Hospital. He began writing novels and stories, many of which were the hero of the forensic investigator Dr. Thorndike, and his first stories were published in 1907, and continued to publish a story by Dr. Thorndike annually until his death in 1943.
