خذت القصص جانب نفسي وبوليسي ودرامي وخيالي بامتياز، لا أنكر أن بعض أحداثها أفزعتني، وأحداث اقشعر بدني لمجرد التفكير فيها، وصفه لبعض الأحداث أثار الرعب في نفسي لمجرد تخيله، بل أن بعضها أصابتني بكوابيس فلم أهنأ في نومي ذلك اليوم -لأَنِّي قرأت القصة الأولى قبل أن أنام مباشرة فعقدت مع نفسي اتفاقاً على ألا أقرأه في مثل هذا الوقت وخيراً فعلت- كانت فيها أحداث مخيفة ومقلقة وأخرى مربكة، وبالتالي فإن عنصر التشويق والترقب والمفاجأة كان متواجداً بشكل كبير.

Abd al-Wahhab Abdullah al-Sayyid Ali al-Rifai (January 22, 1973) is a Kuwaiti novelist, writer, publisher, lecturer and engineer. He also published his first book in 1999, and established the Kuwaiti publishing house Nova Plus in 2011. It is noteworthy that some of his works were converted into short films on Youtube and long films that were shown in Kuwaiti cinemas, such as the movie (Apartment Six) and the movie (Baby). He has also given more than 65 courses in the art of writing novels and short stories in most of the Gulf countries, and his works are currently spread widely in most Arab countries.
In 2016, he was honored by the Amiri Diwan in Kuwait as one of the 100 most creative Kuwaiti figures.
