Abbas Al-Azzawi is an Iraqi writer, lawyer, historian, was a member of several Arab scientific academies, mastered the Turkish and Persian languages, and took care of writing about the history of Iraq, the most famous of which is the Encyclopedia of the History of Iraq between Two Occupations, in which he chronicled the period extending from the fall of Baghdad in a year to the end of the British occupation.
