وقد اشتمت الدراسة على خمسة فصول، تناول الفصل الأول منها مدخل إلى الدراسة ،في حين تناول الفصل الثاني مكة المكرمة من حيث نشأتها وموقعها ومناخها وتضاريسها وأشهر معالمها وجبالها وأوديتها وكذلك أشهر مساجدها وفى مقدمتها المسجد الحرام ،وتناول الفصل الثالث رحلة الحج إلى مكة المكرمة من حيث تعريف الحج ومواقيته وشروطه وأركانه والحكمة منه بينما تناول الفصل الرابع التأثير النفسي لرحلة الحج إلى مكة المكرمة على المسلم من حيث تناول أهم خصائص مكة المكرمة ، واهم فضائلها ، والتأثير النفسي لرحلة الحج إلى مكة المكرمة على المسلم وأخيرا تناول الفصل السابع الخامس نتائج الدراسة وتوصياتها.
