لقد بوبت ما كتبته في بابين: الباب الأول: تحدثت فيه عن ابن مقلة إنساناً وأديباً، وهو مجرأ إلى ستة فصول هي: أطراف من حياته -خلائقه وعاداته- بدائع نثره والصبابة من شعره -صلاته بأدباء عصره وكتابة- إلمامه بحياته الإدارية والسياسية -خاتمة المطاف. والباب الثاني: تخدثت فيه عن ابن مقلة خطاطاً، وهو مجزأ إلى أربعة فصول هي: نص رسالة ابن مقلة في الخط والقلم محققاً على ثلاثة أصول -آراء ابن مقلة في الخط والقلم- الذين تقيلو خط ابن مقلة -مما امتدح به خط ابن مقلة شعراً ونثراً. هذا غير المقدمة وأنموذجات المخطوطات المعتمدة.

Hilal Naji

Hilal Naji bin Zain al-Din al-Shaqaqi al-Alawi (1929 - 2011) was an Iraqi scholar, writer, investigator, poet, diplomat, and jurist. He was born in Qurna, the confluence of the Tigris and Euphrates in Iraq. He studied in Baghdad and graduated from the Faculty of Law in 1951. He practiced law for a while, then was appointed as a diplomatic representative in Madrid, then Tehran until 1968. He was elected president of the Iraqi Authors and Writers Union in 1973 and represented Iraq in many literary and legal conferences. He has many collections of poetry and literary and critical writings.
