وأهم ما يهدف إليه الكتاب هو الإحساس بالصدق أثناء تأدية الممثل لدوره، ثم العمل على توفير المزاج أو الجو الخلاق في أثناء التمثيل وذلك بالبعد عن التمثيل الآلي والقوالب الزائفة التي يلجأ إليها الدجالون المشعوذون ممن يحترفون حرفة التمثيل لكي يصفق لهم الجمهور.
