Vidal believes the crisis suffered by society is fundamentally of spiritual nature. He is pessimistic about political, economic, or social solutions. Vidal believes, however, in the indescribable effects that a personal relationship with God, the application of the teachings of Jesus Christ and the obedience to the Holy Spirit can have on people from all walks of life.
