El-Baz El-Arini is an Egyptian historian and academic. He obtained a diploma from the Institute of Higher Education in Cairo, and held the position of Professor of History at the Faculty of Arabic Language in Al-Azhar after obtaining a doctorate from Alexandria University in 1953. The only one among the history professors who was honored by the state. He held many scientific centers, and was a member of the History and Archeology Committee of the Supreme Council of Culture (1965 - 1966), and a member of the Permanent Scientific Committee for the Promotion of Professors of History at Al-Azhar University and its branches, and others.

And if his scholarly endowment in the field of historical research and text verification did not stop at a limit, his personal behavior was based on authentic university values ​​and high moral ideals. His students in the Department of History at the Faculty of Arts at Cairo University and elsewhere recognized him as an honorable model for the teacher world, and thousands of scholars graduated from him in Egypt, Kuwait, Lebanon and Saudi Arabia, who borrowed from his knowledge and creation, and benefited from his research, books and studies.
