Egyptian writer and petroleum engineer. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering with a minor in Political Science. He assumed the presidency of the American University Student Union in 2012, and was the vice president of the Union of Private University Students, which he co-founded in 2013. He participated in opinion articles in Al-Watan newspaper, Daily News Egypt, and Mada Masr. Currently, he writes episodes for the program "Al-Dahih". Recipient of the Dr. Ahmed Zewail Award for Excellence in the Sciences and Humanities in 2014
