Qahtan Abdul Rahman Al-Douri, an Iraqi jurist, has a PhD in Islamic law from the Faculty of Dar Al-Uloom, Cairo University. He moved between several Arab universities as a professor of Islamic law. A former dean of the College of Jurisprudence and Legal Studies (currently the College of Sharia) at Al al-Bayt University in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Expert in the Sharia and Law Committee of the Iraqi Scientific Academy. In addition to his specialization in Islamic jurisprudence with its various branches, he studied in the preliminary and higher studies, the history of Islamic legislation, the interpretation of the Holy Qur’an, the sciences of the Qur’an, the sciences of the noble hadith, modern Islamic thought, and Islamic beliefs in addition to Islamic sects and sects. In the specializations he studied, he wrote several major books, including curricula and references. He supervises master's and doctoral students and discussed many of them. He is a member of the Union of Iraqi Authors and Writers, and the Union of Arab Historians.
