Prof. Mehtab Singh Rana (MDU, Rohtak) delivered a lecture on " Role of Geospatial Technologies in g-Governance" in a workshop on 'Applications of Remote Sensing, GIS and GPS in Natural Resource Management' at Interdisciplinary Dept of Remote Sensing and GIS, Aligarh Muslim University. During the lecture, Prof. Mehtab Singh Rana said that the present global trend of application of Geospatial Technologies in Administration and planning reveals that next decade would be of g-Governance I.E GIS based Governance. The quick information received through Geospatial Technologies helps in Administration planning monitoring and in management works and taking quick decisions which ultimately helps in developing good and decentralised governance.
