Abu al-Faraj al-Isfahani (284 AH / 897 AD - 14 Dhu al-Hijjah 356 AH / 20 November 967 AD), Ali bin Al-Hussein bin Muhammad bin Ahmed bin Al-Haytham Al-Marwani Al-Umayyad: His mother was a Shiite from the Thawaba family.
