Abd al-Ali al-Jasmani, an Iraqi psychologist and educator, was born in Karbala in 1925. He taught at the University of Baghdad, Sana'a University, and other Arab universities. He died in Sana'a, the Yemeni capital, on February 1, 2009, at the age of eighty-four.
